What we collect and why

When you fill in the form on this site, we receive your name, your phone or WhatsApp number, your email if you choose to add one, your answer about owning a property in Madeira, a link to that property, and anything else you write to us. We use it for one purpose: to answer you and prepare the income estimate you asked for. If you write to us on WhatsApp instead, we keep that conversation for the same reason.

Who we share it with

Your request is stored on a server we run ourselves, and a copy lands in a Google spreadsheet that only our team can open. This site is hosted by Cloudflare, and WhatsApp messages travel through Meta. We sell your data to nobody and pass it to nobody for advertising.

Transfers outside the European Union

Google and Meta may process data outside the European Union. They do so under the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

How long we keep it

We keep your request while we are in touch about it. If we start working together, we keep what Portuguese law requires us to keep as business records. If the conversation ends there, we erase your request within 24 months, or straight away if you ask us to.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Should we add them later, we will ask for your agreement first and update this page.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, correct it, erase it, limit how we use it, receive it in a portable file, or object to our use of it. Where you gave your agreement, you can withdraw it at any time. Message us on WhatsApp and we will handle it within one month.

Security

Access to the requests we receive is limited to our own team, the connection to this site is encrypted, and the spreadsheet stays inside the company.

Complaints

If you believe we handled your data badly, you can complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD, at www.cnpd.pt.

Changes to this policy

When our practice changes, we update this page and the date above.
